The Group was established in 2006 as a result of purchasing by the Kamax of 100% of shares in German company Keystone Bahntechnik. From the 25th September 2007, the Group has the common name: AXTONE.

The AXTONE Group is a manufacturer of buffers and draw-gear devices for all types of rail vehicles. In order to meet requirements of the Clients from different regions, as well as to adjust to individual requirements of particular markets and customers, the Group manufactures the products in five locations: in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia and China. The Group has also created the representation network in Europe, Asia and Africa enabling close cooperation with the Client.

As the sole supplier at this market, the AXTONE Group offers complete service of buffers being fully responsible for their servicing and logistic maintenance.

Long-term experience in the production of buffers and draw-gear devices, enabled the companies of the Group to develop their own, worldwide patented solutions for absorbing collisions energy. The applied unique technologies, modern stock of machines, completely equipped research laboratories as well as rich research and development potential decide about perfect operation parameters and products quality of the Group. As a result of combining innovative technologies applied by two biggest manufacturers of the Group, products currently introduced at the market, determine new quality standards and significantly increase safety of people and cargo transport.
