In 1997 on the basis of the Factory of Locomotives and Cars a H.Cegielski - Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych Spółka z o.o. is a company-daughter of the company of the "mother" H. Cegielski - Poznań with the continuator of the production reaching the twenty five years of the last century of the rolling stock in the form at first of steam engines, and then of passenger cars to needs of especially a domestic recipient, i.e. of Polish National Railways.

Carrying such a rich tradition on the company is a leading producer of track vehicles at present in Poland and with the most serious producer of the passenger cars in different types for the PKP.

Activity of the company

A structure and a production of new passenger cars and a modernization are a basic area of activity of the company and retrofit of used cars.

The offer of our company include:

• production of passenger cars with compartments or open – saloon cars 1-st and 2-nd class designed for speed 160 and 200 km/h, in it also of sleepers (couchettes) and bar-cars 

• the modernization and the rebuilding of passenger cars used of different type exploited in the Polish State Railways 

• production of new high-floor trams and low-floor trams 

• repair and the modernization of trams operated by municipal transport companies 

• production of low-floor trailer tram cars 

• production of industrial cars to carry large details in production process 

• the construction and the production of rail cars for the operation of the passenger regional transport 

• production of passenger and tram cars bodies and rail cars 

• production of units and sub-assemblies of track vehicles, in it among others of complete 
underbodies, side walls, leading and of roofs, frames of bogies, beams bujakowych and braking 

• welded constructions of stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminium 

• painting and varnishing track vehicles and metallurgical constructions 

• testing of track vehicles 

• measurements of wheeled pressures, bench tests of cars and weighing track vehicles 

All the time the company is developing the palette of services as part of activity for different clients at home and abroad.

Company applies European Quality Management System ISO 9001, ISO 14001, certificates German SLV Institute to make welding works in harmony with the 6700-2i DIN18800-7 norm, Germanischer certificates Lloyd and PRS and of the Institute of the Welding in Gliwice.

Railway goods of the company are comply with international requirements of RIC and UIC.
