Europejskie Konsorcjum Kolejowe WAGON Sp. z o.o. is one of Poland's biggest workshops offering repair and production of freight wagons. Our company has a long tradition and multiyear experience in this industry branch. It continues endeavours of former Fabryka “WAGON” SA, which was established on European railway market back in 1920.

Production of railway rolling stock

Our current production offer includes complete projects and serial production of following wagon types : 

- flat container wagons of Sgns 60’, Sggmrs 90’ and 104’ series,
- coal wagons of Eaos, Eanos and Eans series,
- self-discharging wagons of Fals and Falns series,
- pocket wagons of Sdgmns and Sdggmrs series,
- timber wagons with stanchions of Snps series (25 t axle load),
- freight bogies of Y25 Ls(s)d1 series, 3TNk type,
- freight bogies of Y25/25 t series, 30TN type,
- freight bogies of Y25 Ls(s)d1 series, 21TN type (with composite brake blocks),
- freight bogies of Y25 Ls(s)1 series, 21TNa type (with composite brake blocks).

Repair and modernization of railway rolling stock

Our company is also ready to undertake revisions, refurbishments and modernizations of all freight wagon types, particularly: 

- standard coal wagons (E series),
- special coal wagons (F series),
- standard flat wagons with bogies (R series),
- special flat wagons with bogies (S series),
- tank wagons (Z series) – general revision without revision of tanks,
- roofed wagons (T series).

We are in possession of necessary equipment required for repair and regeneration of all sub-assemblies and wagon components, such as: 

- freight bogies,
- wheel sets,
- draw and buffing gears,
- braking systems,
- discharging systems,
- external equipment.

In the course of 80 years of our history our factory has built, repaired or modernized over half a million of wagons of various types!

To the list of basic products and services offered by our company one should also add production of steel structures.

Certificates and approvals

Our company was granted many domestic and international certificates and approvals confirming a very high level of our quality management system and technological processes implemented in our factory. The most important certificates obtained by our company are:

• Europejskie Konsorcjum Kolejowe WAGON Sp. z o.o. has obtained Certificate No. FM 501652 and works according to Quality Management System complying with requirements of ISO 9001 : 2008 dated June 09th, 2009 for the following scope: 

Desing, development, construction, modernisation and repairs of railway rolling stock and steel construction. The British Standards Institution is incorporated by Royal Charter.

• Qualification Certificate # 210/50/VII/2008 issued by Welding Institute in Gliwice, qualifying Europejskie Konsorcjum Kolejowe WAGON Sp. z o.o. to the Firts Group of Large Factories acc. to the norm PN-M-69009, authorizing us to perform welding works in range of manufacturing, assembly and renovation of steel constructions of 1,2 and 3 class according to the norm PN-M-690008 as well as building steel constructions with taking into consideration requirements of norm PN-B-06200, particularly freight cars and tank wagons, container construction and accessories, pressurized air containers, according to regulations of Transport Technical Supervision (TDT), manufactured from low- and highly alloyed steel and aluminum together with its alloy, with mentioned below welding methods:

• Certificate of Adequateness #CE 1468-SPV-002 conferred on Europejskie Konsorcjum Kolejowe WAGON Sp. z o.o. by Transportowy Dozór Techniczny (Technical Supervision for Transportation) authorizing us to manufacture simple pressure reservoirs according to the European Union directive #87/404/EWG.

• Certificate No. COT-621-134/2000 granting our company No. 916 and confirming suitability of our technical equipment, qualifications of our crew and implemented technologies according to requirements of PKP regulations and instructions in scope of all kinds of repairs and modernizations of passenger coaches and freight wagons of all types.

• Certificate authorizing our company to weld railway vehicles and parts of railway vehicles according to norm DIN 6700-2 for C1 construction class, issued by SLV Hanover.

• Certificate confirming manufacturer qualifications to weld building steel structures of
D class according to norm DIN 18800-7, allowing us production of such structures on German market, issued by SLV Hanover.

• Certificate of Conformity acc. to norm DIN EN ISO 3834-2 confirming fulfill requirements
of welding quality issued by SLV Hanover.

• Authorization for welding railway vehicles issued by Railway Transport Regulations Office in Bratislava.

• Certificate #2100-1379/2005 of December 2005 issued by Slovakian Cargo Railway Company a.s. (Żeleznićna spoloćnost' Cargo a.s., Bratislava) confirming an appropriate way of preparation for repairs, reconstruction, modernization and production of new, private freight wagons, registered at Slovakian Railways.

• Certificate No. CEOa-621/005a/2007 dated November 27th, 2007 granting us status of qualified product manufacturer approved by PKP Cargo S.A.

• Certificate No. CEOa-621/005b/2007 dated November 27th, 2007 granting us status of qualified service provider approved by PKP Cargo S.A.

• Certificate of qualified supplier of DB AG with individual qualification degrees of Q2 and E2.

• EC Certificate of Type Examination for the 2-axle bogie, seriesY25Ls(s)d1, type 21 TN for freight wagons with the K-label brakes.
