Wikov MGI a.s. specializes in design, production and supply of mechanical gearboxes, gear wheels including spiral bevel gears for railway vehicles. Railway vehicle segment makes cca 30% of company turnover. Other importants segments are e.g. gearboxes for rubber industry, energy sectors, shipbuilding, etc.

With our clients we are developing drives for metro or monorail system. 

Our company is the original producer of the gearboxes and spare parts for railway vehicles from former ČKD productions (trams, diesel and diesel-electric locomotives). Under the licence of Škoda Transportation company we produce axle wheels and pinions for Škoda locomotives and EMUs.
