The rolling stock factory Gredelj was founded in 1894 as main workshop of the Hungarian state railways for repair and general overhaul of steam locomotives. Shortly after being founded, the factory widens its activity and produces parts and tools for maintenance of rolling stock. As the leader of engineering and technological development of that time, the factory is successful in gathering engineering experts who marked the way for future development of the factory.

Production program:

DESIGNING AND NEW PRODUCTION: all kinds of coaches, trams, bogies, bodies of electric locomotives, pressure vessels, screw jacks of different carrying capacity, forgings of all shapes and quality, gray cast and non-ferrous metal castings, spare parts for rolling stock, automotive grinder for tram rails and other products.

SERVICES: include heat treatment, testing and metal processing.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE: diesel and electric locomotives, diesel and electric railcars, passenger and service coaches, mail vans, freight cars, heavy motor cars, brake equipments, pressure vessels, screw jacks, machine tools and tram vehicles.
