GIDEX Ltd. was founded in the year 1989 as the consulting firm advising in the field of the transport law. Since 1991 year we have been producing the computer programs. At the end of the last decade of the twentieth century computer systems became our main field of interest. At present, above 90% of our income comes from computer systems and computer service origin. 

We produce mainly the software for railway and road transport. Presently we have in our offer 5 programs. Our programs work in more than one hundred firms. There are single station programs and big multi-unit systems. 

Besides of the programs for transport we have in our offer programs for accounting and invoicing. We also deal with internet sites designing.
 
Our main developing enviroment is Delphi 6.0 with the database servers: Interbase and Oracle for Windows and Firebird for Windows and Linux. Besides them we use Pascal 7.0 and Power Basic. 

Our firm has an experience in cooperation with the foreign companies. During 18 month we collaborated with one of the German firms developing the part of the system for the firm management. 

We are interested in collaboration especially with the Western European firms. GIDEX finds itself in Szczecin, 20 km near the German border. We are connected to the German motorway system. Szczecin is the big university city and it is easy to increase our programming team.

Printing and publishing is our second field of activity. We have a printing workshop equipped in the fast numerical printer.

Gidex employs 4 person permanently and several person as a part time workers in commission.
