ZNTK „Mińsk Mazowiecki” S.A. has its official seat in Mińsk Mazowiecki, 40 km east of Warsaw at the E20 international railroad line going from Berlin through Warsaw, Mińsk on Byelorussia to Moscow. 

ZNTK „Mińsk Mazowiecki” enterprise was set up on 29 November 1952 and operated within the Polish State Railroads [PKP] organisational structure as a railway rolling stock maintenance workshop. 

In 1991, the maintenance workshop was separated from the PKP organisational structure and started its own independent operations, initially as a state-owned undertaking and since 1 January 1996, as a joint stock company. In July 2002, private shareholders acquired the major stock. 

The nature of the Works, its flexibility, multifunctional and universality and the fact that the workshops are fitted out with modern machinery and equipment, coupled with skilled engineering and technical staff and a professional workforce, enable new production processes requiring a variety of applied technologies to be undertaken.
