DARPOL company was established in 1988 and up to this point it has been concentrating its activity on the cooperation with companies that own or repair rolling stock, e.g. PKP, ZNTK or industrial plants.

Its basic business activity has been the production, repair and trade of spare parts for coaches and engines.

In the company’s first period of activity it offered repairs and production of spare parts for speed measuring system of the Swiss company Hasler by offering:

• collectors
• brushes
• brush-holders
• cable of speedometer etc.

In the subsequent years, to meet the market demand, the company launched the production of lock systems with an electromagnetic blockade for folding doors:

• door handles with blockade
• locks
• bolts
• pull rods
• sensors
• pulse amplifiers

Darpol also caters for the needs of PKP Intercity, PKP Przewozy Regionalne and recently – of Mazovia Railways – with respect to furnishings:

• schedule desk in locomotive
• scuttle panel
• temperature regulator
• coils
• cords for windows and toilets
• light frames
• side door siders for coaches
• litter bins
• ashtrays etc.

By systematic enhancement of our offer, Darpol produces more modern components and spare parts for different kinds of rolling stock. 

Other type of activity is the repair of auxiliary engines for locomotives and coaches, such as fans, fuel pumps, compressors, etc.

Very important part of produce are telescope masts. They can use themselves or on special vehicles: police or fire-brigade.

Recently, the company launched deliveries of descriptive bands for wheel sets of freight coaches.

So far, DARPOL’s products have been sold to Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Iraq and Slovenia.
